The Office of Ethics and Policy's Associate Director Jen DeNeal was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of College and University Policy Administrators (ACUPA).

Governor Roy Cooper has declared June as Safety Awareness month. Across North Carolina, workplace safety is emphasized during this month to stress the importance of identifying and eliminating safety hazards.

The purpose of this policy is to encourage individuals to report possible Wrongful Conduct to an appropriate authority so that prompt, corrective action can be taken by the University and to protect reporting individuals from any Retaliation for reporting Wrongful Conduct.

The week of May 3-9 is Hurricane Preparedness Week. Hurricanes are not just a coastal problem. Their impacts can be felt hundreds of miles inland, and significant impacts can occur without it being a major hurricane.

The University salutes its essential workers and asks Tar Heels everywhere to wear Carolina blue to honor them on April 28.
