The Division of Institutional Integrity and Risk Management at UNC-Chapel Hill encompasses a wide group of departments that protect and preserve the University’s teaching, research and public service mission through their dedicated, innovative work processes and impeccable attention to ethics, compliance and safety. This newly formed Division illustrates the highest commitment to coordinated management of a University-wide enterprise risk management operation that will position the University to identify, assess, manage and mitigate risks that may impede its academic mission or strategic objectives. To that end, the Division houses essential campus functions, such as ethics education and policy management, insurance and emergency planning, and all aspects of campus safety.
